Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To compare the effects of different intravenous crystalloid fluid regimens in early shock management in children with severe febrile illness and septic shock in resource-limited settings on time to shock reversal and 24 hour mortality.
