Abstract

The authors regret an error in Appendix B of the paper which describes the statistical code used to run the algorithm. On page 5 of the supplementary material, in the second line of code for step 2 the expression “numtries <= (numactive.tx-2)” should be replaced with “numtries <= (tottx-1)”. Additionally in Section 3.4 of the paper regarding Type I error, the cutoff for futility, αF, was stated to be 0.50 but should be 0.70. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
