Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:

To assess the effects of antibiotic treatment for travellers’ diarrhoea in relation to:

illness duration;

adverse effects;

acquisition of multidrug‐resistant organisms.
