Mr Swapneel Waghmare

With over a decade of experience in clinical research, centralised monitoring, and clinical project management, Swapneel Waghmare has developed a strong expertise in ensuring regulatory compliance, data integrity, and patient safety in global clinical trials.

He works as a Data Coordinator in the Global Health Trials Unit-Clinical Sciences Team at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM). Swapneel plays a crucial role in managing clinical trial data, ensuring consistency and accuracy, and maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines such as good clinical practice and GDPR. His responsibilities include designing and testing trial databases, reconciling clinical data, and providing key support in data management activities.

Swapneel previously roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Atos (formerly Syntel Pvt Ltd), gaining extensive experience in project coordination, regulatory documentation, and clinical trial management. He has been recognised for his contributions to regulatory compliance, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making, including receiving the CEO Excellence Award for outstanding performance during an MHRA inspection.
