Susie Crossman is a Senior Programme Manager based in the Centre for Capacity Research. She manages multiple research consortia and oversees numerous sub-awards. Her responsibilities include budget preparation, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting; contract development and negotiation; staff recruitment and line management; and monitoring project progress and reporting to funders. She also contributes to research activities and peer-reviewed publications. Susie works closely with research colleagues to prepare, develop, and submit grant applications, and she promotes and disseminates the Centre for Capacity Research’s research outputs. She has a diverse background in project management, having worked on projects across sub-Saharan Africa and the UK, spanning neglected tropical diseases, drug discovery, vector control, sickle cell disease, and research capacity strengthening.
