Personal profile
Biography
I am a Clinical Trials Data Manager with over a decade of experience in research, monitoring and evaluation. My work focuses on supporting global health research through high-quality data management and advanced analytics across both infectious and non-infectious disease studies.
I obtained an undergraduate degree in Statistics, an MSc in Statistics, and a Master’s in Information Management from Ahmadu Bello University.
Prior to joining LSTM, I worked in data management roles at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the University of Oxford, Nigeria Center for Disease Control and Zankli Research Center Bingham University. In these roles, I supported large-scale public health projects, including collaborations with the African Union Commission, where I contributed to epidemic response and surveillance efforts. The disease areas of the studies I have worked on include TB, breast cancer, B-cell lymphoma, renal and prostate cancers, diabetes, and HIV.
Earlier in my career, I was an Assistant Lecturer at Bingham University, Nigeria, where I taught students in statistics and data science.
In recognition of my contributions to global health, I received a Meritorious Service Award from the African Union Commission and the Government of Sierra Leone for my role in the Ebola outbreak response.Research interests
