Biography
Karen Miller manages communications and research uptake for projects in the Department of International Public Health, which currently include ReBUILD for Resilience (health systems strengthening in fragile and shock-prone settings) and REACT (Resilience and Equitable Health Workforce to Address Climate Threats).
She has more than 25 years’ experience in a variety of communications roles, and also works as a freelance copywriter and editor.
Karen holds an MA in International Relations & Security and a professional diploma in digital marketing.
Teaching
Karen provides training to colleagues, at both LSTM and our partner organisations, on communications topics including writing for non-academic audiences, presentation skills, social media, and developing and delivering communications and research uptake strategies.
