Biography
Hi I’m Hannah.
I started as an Insectary Technician with LITE in September after completing a master’s in Biological sciences with the University of Liverpool in 2024.
My studies focussed on how changes to an organism's microbiome can affect population dynamics, specifically the effect of spiroplasma on D.Hydei and their reproductive success. This led to my keen interest into the effects endosymbionts have on their hosts, and therefore their impact within their environments.
Aside from my love of science, I’m a huge animal lover and you can find me spending my Sunday mornings cuddling cats, volunteering at Freshfields animal rescue.
