Ezekiel Boro is the Head of Innovation Capacity Strengthening (ICS) in the Enterprise and Innovation Unit at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. He strategically oversees the E&I team’s efforts to bolster translational research capacity by developing, implementing or supporting ICS projects and initiatives in collaboration with our partners and other global health stakeholders.
Ezekiel has a medical degree and MSc in Global Health and his technical expertise and interests span programme management, market access and research, innovation and entrepreneurship. He has more than 10 years experience and previously worked with global organisations like the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND) and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), advancing access to health products in low- and middle-income countries.
Ezekiel serves as a peer reviewer for Frontiers Public Health and guest editor for the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (AJTMH). He is also a member of the Association of European Science and Technology Transfer Professional (ASTP), Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) and American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH).
Ezekiel's main interests are innovation capacity strengthening, health innovation, entrepreneurship, market access & research, access to medicines, medical devices, diagnostics, and low- and middle-income countries.
