Biography
Research interests
David has an interest in how technology can be used most effectively by staff in their teaching and by students in their learning. He has published on pedagogies (such as action learning) and the international student experience. Current research interests are staff and student attitudes to using AI in teaching and learning and the ethics and efficacy around using AI for summative assessment.
Teaching
David’s teaching is focussed on staff development and much of his material is delivered via PowerPoint and interactive videos. He also teaches on the LIGHT programme that facilitates Fellowships of the Advance HE Fellowship scheme.
