Biography

Amy Collins is a Programme Coordinator at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), actively engaged in global research projects funded by UK Research and Innovation, National Institute for Health and Care Research, the UKRI, and others. Within the Infection Innovation Consortium Programme Office, she supports a £200M R&D programme by developing and maintaining administrative systems, liaising with partners and stakeholders, and ensuring high standards of communication. She also leads the organisation of events.
Amy fosters relationships with local councils, schools, and businesses to facilitate STEM outreach opportunities and creates content and resources for the Infection Innovation Consortium STEM outreach package, drawing on inputs from the core team and academic researchers within LSTM.
Amy has first-class degree in Marketing from Liverpool John Moores University and recently completed an APM Level 4 Project Management apprenticeship. Before joining the LSTM she ran a creative business.
